      Have you ever wanted to go on a cleanse but feel you will have to drop all your activities including work?   Or maybe you feel scared that it will be too hard and you will be starving, and you might give up right in the middle.   These are some of the reasons people shy away from taking the time to rid their bodies of excess ama.  Ama in Sanscrit means toxicity.   According to Ayurveda, ama can also permeate the mind and the body.  In this day and age where pollutants are abound and stress is prevalent, we need to rejuvenate and reset our bodies and minds and start from scratch.  How about setting a new baseline for starting new and enjoying a strong digestion once again? 

This will be based on the principles of Panchakarma, an ancient healing cleansing ritual from India.   It is affordable, yet a very powerful way to re-balance your body and most importantly, calm your mind.  And the great news is you can do your regular activities on it too!

The purpose of this cleanse is to clean our bodies of AMA (toxins) and de-congest the liver.  We will be re-setting our digestion.  According to Ayurveda, when our digestion is in good working order, everything else falls into health and grace. 


                 THIS IS NOT A FASTING CLEANSE

The beauty about this cleanse is there are four parts to it.   And all four parts you are eating three to four meals a day.. Copious veggies, and grains like quinoa and millet will be encouraged, and you will only be eating seeds and avocados as your fat source.  (delicious  recipes will be provided)

A Group Forum will be created on facebook for participants only.  We get to share recipes and farmer's market locations and places to get great produce.  We can also share our feelings and ideas about how to get through some difficult moments. We can also have fun and get to know each other and feel support, which I find is a biggie when you are on a  cleanse.   Knowing you are supported and not alone helps for a more successful outcome.

ABHYANGA

ABHYANGA  

Abhyanga is very important in the fall and winter month, but great for all year long.   So many benefits include: Flushes toxins from the lymphatic system, softens the skin to a healthy glow, tones muscles, reduces anxiety and depression, promotes flexibility, protects skin from pathogens, increases stamina, promotes healthy sleep.

How to:  Place the bottle of oil in a cup of hot water to warm it.  Start with feet, and work your way up making straight motions toward the heart on legs and arms and circular motions on head and especially joints. Spend extra time where nerve endings are located, ie, soles of feet, palms of hand.  Let absorb into skin.  Then shower.  Tip:  for restless nights, rub oil on the soles of your feet, wear socks, and drift to sleep....
